Shell ConCourt Judgement: 14 Aug 2026

The Constitutional Court judiciary will pronounce on the Sustaining the Wild Coast NPC and Others v Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy and Others & CCT, and Natural Justice and Another v Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy and Others this Friday the 14th at 10.00.

We salute the communities, organisations, legal teams and activists who brought this litigation and carried it through the courts. As we await the judgment, we hope it strengthens the principles of precaution, environmental justice and constitutional accountability in decisions affecting our oceans, climate, livelihoods and future generations.
