Gas infrastructure demands high environmental scrutiny.

The Minister for the Environment is asking for comments on reducing timeframes +/or administration or exclude environmental assessment altogether for planned gas pipelines. We strongly advocate that high standards of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) production and official review be applied to any national, land or offshore gas pipeline.
